The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of marigold make it a good face wash for dry, irritated and acne prone skin. Possessing and anti-inflammatory activity, marigold is also used in the treatment of allergic reactions, insect bites and dermatitis.


Culinary uses...

Steep a few petals in hot water for 5-10 minutes to make an herbal tea. A few petals can be incorporated into cake batter, cookies or breads for added colour and a delicate flavour.
